If, over the past few weeks, you have heard a chorus of delighted shouts emanating from downtown Peekskill, it was probably us. The New York Times published a wonderful article about Peekskill Project 6, available online now! We are so, so, SO pleased!

Westchester Magazine gave Peekskill Project a shout-out, specifically praising works by Man Bartlett and Liene Bosquê.

PYLOT Magazine interviewed artist Nina Mouritzen about her photography series "Faces of Peekskill," which currently hang outside 150 North Water Street.

Janet Langsom, the CEO of ArtsWestchester, featured Peekskill Project in her recent blog post, saying: "Pushing beyond the walls of her fledgling museum, Livia [Straus] has made Peekskill a destination [...]."

Peekskill Project 6 runs until the new year, so there's still time to see the art that everyone's raving about.

Some pieces, like Olafur Eliasson's recently debuted "Your Repetitive View" are public and can be viewed at any time. "RAGA/PEAK," an exceptional audio work by Man Bartlett is even available on your computer! The gallery spaces at North Water Street are open every Saturday and Sunday, from twelve to four pm. More information about accessing the complete exhibition is available on the project website.

The artists of Peekskill Project have been busy themselves, as Olafur Eliasson gets ready to install 80 tons of Norwegian ice in Paris for the upcoming UN Climate Summit. His work aims to bring the reality of climate change to life, as onlookers watch the ice melt. Jo-Ann Brody has an exhibit at Ceres Gallery in Manhattan. "Family Stories" combines introspective searching with the complexity of human relationships, and is open until November 28th. Hyperallergic called"SHIFT; The Angel of History,"a recent exhibition by Elana Herzog "understated, brooding and tough [...]  it dares you to be exhilarated."

Finally, Hyperallergic featured HVCCA's Hermann Nitsch exhibition, and ARTINFO recommends Nitsch (and Thomas Hirschhorn, of "Laundrette" fame for HVCCA-ers) for contemporary art fans looking for a scare.
